Rovers.

Although based at the Forestville Hall, the unit's activities are planned separately to the group, and run by the Rover Scouts themselves.

Rover ScoutS
18–25 years.

Venturer Scouts progress to the Rover Scout Section after turning 18.  Although based at the Forestville Hall, the unit's activities are planned separately to the group, and run by the Rover Scouts themselves – which means they are tailored to the requirements and interests of members.

Venturer Scouts who turn 18 during Year 12 can wait to progress until they have completed Year 12 as long as they have a verified Working With Children Check and National Police clearance.

Badges and Award

Like all Scouts, Rover Scouts participate in the Achievement Pathways and are presented with badges to recognise their achievements. The Achievement Pathways are a continuous series of personal achievements across the whole program. A Rover Scout can decide if they would like to achieve their peak award in this Section – the Baden-Powell Scout Award. Click here to view the Baden-Powell Scout Award Pathway.

Uniform

The Rover Scout uniform consists of a navy blue shirt, with the red section colour highlighted across the sleeve, yoke and collar. Click here to read more about the uniform.
