Parent Helpers

Forestville Scout Group is a great community to be part of, and without the support of volunteers we simply cannot function.

So while Leaders focus on arranging great activities for the kids, parents and carers are needed to keep everything around those activities working.

A little help from many people is far better than a lot of work from a few - and it also shows the youth members what a community looks like! 

How you can help

• Assist at weekly meetings when required
• Pitch in to clean the hall and attend and working bees
• Support fundraising efforts, including events, activities or grant seeking
• Becoming an active member of the Group Committee to assist the Group Leader; roles include Chairperson, Grants Officer, Fundraising Coordinator, Secretary and Treasurer.

Please note that in line with current policies, a valid Working With Children Check as required by Scouts NSW.
